Event Details

On Saturday, November 21, 2009 at “The Cellar” in downtown Long Beach, the Long Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated will present for the second year in a row, “A Literary Arts Café.” This event is a night for the art enthusiast!

With several musicians, vocalist, poets and artist already confirmed, this year’s fundraiser promises to be bigger and better than the last. In addition to the featured performers, there is a silent auction on site which will consist of artwork, sculptures and a host of other items presented by painters and designers from the local community.

“A Literary Arts Café,” helps the Long Beach Alumnae Chapter raise funds for scholarships while simultaneously keeping the arts alive in the greater Long Beach area. All performers in the event contribute to the fund raising for the event by donating their time to a much worthy cause.
